In wrestling, as in life, things are not always what they appear to be. Take for example, this latest GrudgeMatch. One would logically expect a lass bearing the moniker or Hailey Hatred to be a vile, rule-breaking heel while her opponent, one Mary Elizabeth Monroe would be a force for all that is sweetness and light.

Well, get ready for some classic role reversal as Hailey’s clearly captured the loyalty of the crowd, whereas Miz Monroe receives no appreciation for her berating of the ringside children!

The match itself is a grinding, technical affair with both competitors utilizing a number of stretches and joint-locks to wear down her rival. Monroe seems to take special delight in working over Hatred’s left arm and spends a large portion of the match twisting, wrenching, bending, contorting and generally abusing the helpless limb.

And if the arm damage wasn’t enough, Mary E never hesitates to cut corners whenever she can -- using the ropes or a handful of hair to seize momentum back from the pink and black powerhouse. But Hailey’s not easily undone and she battles back valiantly, the war going back and forth for almost twenty minutes before a thunderous Fisherman’s Buster lays one weary warrior out for a decisive three count.
